Apart from Seven Towns my clients include: Bang Creations (a toy design consultancy), A Models (architectural model-makers), Berry Place Models, and Franklin Associates (see below). A project of note for Bang Creations was designing a new toy for the well-established brand Sylvanian Families.

Other freelance projects in which I have been involved during this time include designing a product for the building industry and preparing a patent application for it. I continue to invent and design products with an eye to licensing them.

Franklin Associates is a small toy design company run by Frank Young (former head of design at Tonka Toys). I had many responsibilities and my work included:

• Generating new toy concepts
• Developing existing toy concepts
• Technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Producing concepts for Subway restaurant’s Monsters Inc premiums
• Presenting concepts to various companies including Hasbro
